BNMIT, in collaboration with NewGen IEDC and DST, Govt. of India, has launched a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence (CoE) for 3D printing technology. The inaugural event witnessed the presence of Sunil Shukla and Prof.(Dr.)Raman Gujral from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), India, adding prestige to this remarkable initiative.

This CoE represents a game-changer in the field, providing students with hands-on learning experiences that bridge the gap between theory and practice. By embracing 3D printing, students can manufacture intricate prototypes, personalize products, and tackle real-world projects. BNMIT’s dedication to cutting-edge education and the nurturing of future innovators is further solidified by the establishment of this CoE. The CoE embraces students from various engineering backgrounds, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and a vibrant innovation ecosystem.

In the realization of this CoE, special appreciation goes to the founders – HyCube Works ®  whose unwavering support and guidance have played a pivotal role. Their expertise in the field of #3dprinting has contributed significantly to shaping the CoE into a cutting-edge hub for innovation. Additionally, the invaluable support and guidance provided by  Dr.L.Vijayashree have been instrumental in transforming the CoEs vision into a tangible reality. The launch of BNMIT&amp’s Center of Excellence for 3D printing technology marks an extraordinary milestone in the institution’s journey.
This remarkable facility invites students to embark on an exciting path of discovery, unleashing their creativity and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The CoE is poised to shape a future where innovation thrives, inspiring generations of students to make a profound impact on society.

Areas of Concentration

Under the “Area of Concentration,” various projects, internships, consultancy roles, and development programs have been undertaken. These include material development for enhanced properties, bio-printing for tissue engineering, software and design innovations, hardware prototyping, and industrial applications.
